Frequently Asked Questions

We have gathered what people often ask while using the service, by category. If you can't find your question, please leave it in Inquiries · Requests.

Admissions consulting

If my fit score is high, does that mean admission is likely?

No. This score explains how well the student and the major fit; it is not the chance of admission. Eligibility and selection results are set by each university's admission guidelines.

Do you predict whether I will be admitted?

We do not judge admission or rejection, nor state it as a probability (%). We show whether the application conditions are met, how far preparation has come, and whether the choice combination leans to one side. The reference outlook on admission in the Premium report is a reference opinion based on public data, and it also lists what cannot be known, such as competition rates, cut-off lines and qualitative evaluation that universities do not disclose.

What happens if I have little data?

If no data has been registered at all, the result stays judgment on hold. If only some data exists, we diagnose with what is there and tell you what is missing and what would change if it were filled in. We never invent scores for missing data.

Can I consult an admissions expert?

Yes. In the app, use Request an admissions consulting phone call; even without an account, you can request a phone consultation via [Apply] on the website. Final decisions such as confirming choices are always made by the student and parent themselves.

Education programs

Can middle-school students use it too?

Yes. Students from middle-school year 2 are the main target. For early grades, though, we show only your preparation level and how things change when conditions change, instead of admission likelihood.

Can I also apply for video classes or vacation intensive courses?

Yes. You can leave a class application via [Apply] on the website. After receiving it, we check the student's school system, current level and available times, then let you know about class placement or private lessons. Online classes, offline special lectures and textbooks are priced separately for each course.

Are class applications and admissions-consulting sessions the same thing?

No. A class application is a request for subject study and special-course placement, while an admissions-consulting session checks eligibility, university and major strategy, and document and interview preparation.

Career & university

How do the Career Exploration Service (JPP) and the University Admission Service (JAIS) differ?

The JPP Career Exploration Service helps find which career and major fit, and the JAIS University Admission Service helps prepare applications in the chosen direction. JPP does not judge admission to universities or tracks. Both services use one account, and when JPP results are passed to JAIS, only the summary you agreed to is sent.

If my target major changes, is everything done so far thrown away?

No. We show separately the common preparation you can keep and the new preparation you need. Your previous plan and the reason for the change remain in the history.

What is passed on when career results move to admission preparation?

Only a summary with its reference date is sent. Before sending, you check what is included and excluded, and it moves only if you agree. If you withdraw consent, new linking stops and we tell you the processing status.

Admissions info

Can I fully trust what the AI says?

No. AI answers are reference material and can be wrong. Please always confirm eligibility and schedules in the relevant university's admission guidelines. Finalizing is always done by the student and guardian.

How many choices can I enter?

Up to 12. Choices are edited in one place, Create application plan, and other screens only show the selected choices.

Where can I see each university's admission guidelines and schedule?

In the Admissions Info menu on the website you can check admissions information by university, guidance by admission-track type, and schedules and materials. When applying it to your own situation, please check the application conditions again in the JAIS University Admission Service.

Using the service

Do the student and parent need separate accounts?

No. One account manages one student's admission data. The parent signs up and manages it, and the student can use the same account together. There is no feature to link a separate child account.

How do I verify my email?

After you sign up, a verification email is sent. Just enter the 8-digit code in the email into the app. Clicking the verification link in the email works the same way. In some overseas email apps the link does not return to the app, so we recommend entering the code.

The verification email doesn't arrive.

Please check your spam folder first. If it still isn't there, press [Resend verification email] on the verification screen. For security, sending many times in a short period is blocked for a while, so please try again after about a minute.

It says the code is wrong.

A code expires after a certain time from issue. If it has expired, please request a new one. If you received several emails, only the code that arrived last is valid.

What can I do for free?

During the free trial period after sign-up, you can use the same features as Basic at no cost: career exploration (JPP), admission status, basic information and eligibility checks, and each university's conditions, schedules and document checklists. AI consultation and AI analysis can be used within a set number of times. The trial period is shown in the pricing guide on the website.

What is the difference between Basic and Premium?

Basic is a plan for managing the whole admission process yourself, from career exploration to applications, documents and application forms. Premium adds in-depth analysis using uploaded grades, test and activity data, fit and competitiveness analysis, application plan strategy analysis, interview preparation and a detailed admission report. Both plans come in 6-month and 12-month terms, and prices are shown in the pricing guide on the website and in [Subscription] in the app.

How much can I use AI consultation?

AI consultation allows free-form questions on every plan, and each plan has daily, weekly and monthly usage limits. Consultation with attached files opens in Premium.

Can I upload a Korean school record (Saenggibu)?

No. Under Article 25(2) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, this service does not collect Korean school records. Please upload other documents such as report cards or transcripts. If the file name or memo contains 'school record (생활기록부·생기부) or NEIS (나이스)', the upload is blocked before it is sent.

My uploaded file contains personal information such as a name. Is that okay?

When a document is sent to AI consultation, the app removes directly identifying information such as names and contact details before sending. However, the app cannot read text in photos and scanned images, so please cover any part showing a name, resident registration number, address or contact details before uploading.

How do I pay?

Choose a plan in [Subscription] in the app and pay by card (KG Inicis). Once the payment is confirmed, the plan applies right away. Until online payment opens, we will guide you by phone consultation. Using only the free trial and stopping costs nothing.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds follow Article 10 of the Terms of Service (Withdrawal of Subscription and Refund). Request it through an inquiry in the app or a phone consultation, and we will process it after checking. When refunded, the plan created by that payment ends as well.

How do I leave the service or delete my information?

There is no withdrawal button in the app. Send a request through an inquiry in the app, and an operator will handle it after checking. After withdrawal, login is blocked and you cannot sign up again with the same email. If you also want the registered data deleted, please say so in the request. Payment records that must be kept by law remain for the required period.
